Oats Ponganaalu/Paniyaram

Oats ponganaalu is a healthy recipe, it is easy to cook and it also consumes very less oil. This is the best recipe for consuming oats in this way. Most of the people avoid oats as it tastes neutral. Hence we have taken this recipe into our mart, so that we can make a very tasty and healthy recipe making use of Oats. It is an instant food which doesn’t take much time of your’s in kitchen. This best snack can be served with peanuts chutney. 


Oats powder – 1 cup 

Curd – 1 cup

Graded Carrot – 1/2 cup

Onions – 1

Chillies – 2

Coriander leaves –  1/2 cup

Salt – 1tsp

Cooking soda – 1/2tsp

Big bowl (to mix the batter) 

Preparation Method:

Take a large bowl, add oats powder, curd, onions, Chillies, graded carrot, coriander leaves, salt and cooking soda. Mix it well if required add some water to prepare the batter (do not make it so loose, it should be like dosa batter). 

Once batter is prepared rest it for 20min aside so that all ingredients will mix well. After 20min take the pan and heat it to a medium heat then add one drop of oil in to every hole on the pan. Then after a minute the pan is ready, you can now pour the batter in all the holes and make sure the heat is in low medium. After 2min you can give a toss to other side of the batter. Also keep it on low medium for another 2min and then it is cooked well and our oats gunthaponganaalu are now ready to serve. This can be tasted better with peanuts chutney or tomato sauce.
